ABOUT AWESOME WALKS
Our base is nestled in the heart of the Waitakere Ranges, within 50 minutes’ drive of central Auckland. From here you have access to an extensive network of walking and tramping tracks.
You’ll spend each night in a traditional Kiwi caravan – self-contained, beautifully refurbished and appointed – and dine on the finest produce that our region has to offer.
You’ll walk out in the morning with your day-pack only and enjoy the journey to your next planned stop – savour the tranquillity of inland forests, gurgling streams and beautiful waterfalls and the raw power of the spectacular west coast beaches. When you reach your destination your caravan, personal belongings and delicious food will be there for you.
Our season runs from November 1st to April 30th
